Dr. Babak Kamkar has been an optometrist since 1986. His optometry practice is in Los Angeles County, City of Glendale, where he offers glasses in less than one hour with an in-house fabrication lab. He is the inventor of APD Tester(TM), a patented pupil diagnostic device currently on the market. He has expertise in disability evaluations and has served as an expert witness in several cases in California and nationwide.

In addition, Dr. Babak Kamkar has been a member of the Flying Samaritans, serving the underprivileged population of Baja, Mexico, and is an active member of the Southern California business and cultural community.
